From Dillon, you can tour one of Montana's best preserved ghost towns, Bannack, for the price of a snowmobile rental, or spend your entire stay soaking, dining and staying at rustic, reasonable Elkhorn Hot Springs. If you're a penny-pincher who prefers hot mineral soaks to hot towels and onion rings to 24-karat ones, then Dillon's your kind of town.
Bannack State ParkWe took a snowmobile ride (you can rent them at Elkhorn) to this super-well-preserved ghost town, Bannack. There is a warming hut that you can stop at on your way to Montana in the 1800's.
Elkhorn Hot SpringsWe stayed at the Elkhorn Hot Springs in a rustic, private cabin. You can throw dinner on the outdoor grill while you get the fire going in the wood stove inside!
La Fiesta MexicanaSimply AMAZING! As a local I would say my favorite place in town. Grab a six pack of microbrews at The Mini, head to the bus and order spicy pork tacos and a tamale, enjoy outside on the picnic table!

Sparky's GarageWe found this place buzzing with both locals and tourists. No nonsense burgers and more menu that was both good value and filled you up. Kids loved their meals and the decor.
