Why You Should Visit

It is a difficult, day-long hike but absolutely worth it once at the top. The 360 view is amazing. Snow still caps the mountain tops, several different lakes and falls along the way. It is a hike that I would definitely do multiple times just for the final view!!

It is pretty trail to hike in the Fall season, as well.

One of the best hikes in Paradise valley. Don't forget to start your trip off right with a great breakfast at Pine Creek Cafe.

Summer in Montana is so spectacular that you have to take the time to enjoy it. My boys and I enjoy taking a weekly hike on local trails but found that we were hiking the same trails again and again. We decided to get in the car and find a new trail. Our adventure took us south of Livingston into the Paradise Valley. We found the Pine Creek campground and the Pine Creek Falls trail. What a wonderful find. Tucked back in to the hillside there is the winding creek that you hike next to for most of the trail. The falls, at the end of our hike, were spectacular and offered a cool mist to offset the warmth of the day. A great find – and one we will be going back to.
