This brewery, which is about 30 minutes outside of Missoula, offers a great selection of beers as well as a nice atmosphere. In addition, they have a wide selection of live music multiple nights a week. It's also a nice place to stop on the way home from a hike in the Bitterroots.

Why You Should Visit
Blacksmith doesn't bottle their beer, so you'd better enjoy it on tap while you're here! Favorite things about this brewery: that you can see in the exposed brewing room, and that it's an ooooold blacksmithery, so they've decorated it with all the antique ironworks. It's a notch up in atmosphere, a classy brewery. And of course, the best part, the locally crafted beer. Actually, the seasonal experiments are sometimes even better...people are still raving about the last barrel of barley wine.
