Why You Should Visit

The bear claws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Peaches and Cream muffins are amazing!
I'm from Laurel. I coached a basketball team for a couple of years whose state tournament was always in Helena. This was our half-way stop on the trip. The have great sandwiches and a nice clean store. Never disappoints.
Every time I drive I-90, I realize I'm approaching Three Forks and think to myself, "Self, do you REALLY need to stop at Wheat Montana for a giant cinnamon roll today?"
The answer is always yes, I always approach insulin shock after finishing one by myself, my wife always says "I told you so," and it is always worth it.
Be sure to say yes when they casually ask if you'd like them to warm it up first.
P.S. (the photo I've added explains the real reason it's called Three Forks)
We always make a point to eat at Wheat Montana when we get back to Bozeman for visits. Too bad they aren't in Bozeman any more and we have to go all the way to Three Forks to get our Wheat Montana bagels.
Wheat Montana is my favorite place to have coffee in a grain elevator. Trips have to be planned so that we pass by Wheat Montana at lunch or snack time. The big silver graineries are a welcome site on any trip. We once stopped for lunch and couldn't find a seat. Another couple offered for us to sit with them. Before we knew it, another couple joined us and we had a great conversation. It reminded me of the days when my dad and the neighbor men met at the elevator for coffee. Joe Davis said, "Raymond, you have eggs on your face." I wiped my face and remembered. "That's not true; I had pancakes this morning."
One word: YUM :-)
My daughter was going to School up at Carroll College and it was always a great place to stop for a quick Sandwich on the way to Helena on the Townsend turnoff for 4 years we stopped every chance we could and on occasion we took them with us. The Cinnamon Rolls were our special treat and all though she is done up at Carroll we still stop when we are heading that direction. Carmel,CreamCheese,Raison and just a regular Cinnamon roll - Yummie!
