We crashed here for 2 nights while riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route in 2008. It was late August, and within minutes of arriving the snow started falling. For the next day and a half we stayed cozy in front of the lodge's fireplace and relaxed our legs in the hot springs. Great times!

A Dillon Winter Weekend
The finer things in life, minus the refinement. In Dillon, it's a tie as to whether the most gourmet fare in town is served out of Sparky ...
Why You Should Visit
Elkhorn is an affordable, rustic retreat buried in clean mountain snow three miles from Maverick Mountain. The hot springs provide a great place to soak the stress of life away. The restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is so awesome. We love going there as a family and unplugging from the world.
Great soak! The changing rooms are newly remodeled and the large pools vary in temperature.
The menu in the main lodge is limited but everything is home made and family run. You'll get a true taste of Montana hospitality along with an assortment of animals on the walls. (They also do a great breakfast - when we went, we were the only one's staying at the cabins the first night and they waited around for us to arrive at the lodge in the morning and then customized each breakfast to order.)
We stayed at the Elkhorn Hot Springs in a rustic, private cabin. You can throw dinner on the outdoor grill while you get the fire going in the wood stove inside!
