This is an upscale restaurant with great service and fabulous food. Be sure to order the mussels, the friend I was with asked for a spoon to eat the broth after the mussels were gone!! It's on the walking mall in Helena and is right next door to Big Dipper Ice Cream. Perfect combination!

We went to Helena to for the Governor’s Arts Awards ceremony and, since the ceremony was on a Friday, decided to make a weekend of it and booked a room at the Holiday Inn downtown on the walking mall. The person at the hotel front desk recommended we try Lucca’s for dinner, within walking distance and also located on the walking mall. The apps, entrées and wine options were exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the manicotti and thought I might actually lick the dish if I could figure out how to finish my plate (it didn’t happen).
