It’s like hanging out in your friend’s living room on a lazy, maybe somewhat hazy, weekend morning while they cook everyone their favorite breakfast personally…everyone being 30 or 40 friends. So take that as the good and the bad…if you are hungry right this second, it’s not going to work out. There’s a wait and it’s “cozy”—sometimes standing room only. But if you want to chat with the neighbors, order something “your” way and have it made right, eat really good home-cooked food made from garden-fresh ingredients, get up to get your own water, and just generally hang out and enjoy the food and conversation in a down-to-earth casual way, this is the place. Some people call it “hippie” but I just think of it as a common-sense, neighborhood establishment, organic and local should be a given.
